Dr. Rekha, our Medical Director, is a distinguished French Clinical Neuropsychologist whose academic and professional journey encompasses internationally renowned institutions and diverse cultural experiences. She began her academic career with three years of undergraduate studies in Neuropsychology at the University of Bordeaux, France. Driven by a passion for global education, she then pursued further studies at the prestigious University of California - Santa Barbara (UCSB), earning her Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a specialization in Neurosciences.

Following her time in the United States, Dr. Rekha returned to Europe to complete a Master’s degree in Clinical Neuropsychology, focusing on Peri-Surgical Evaluation and Cognitive Rehabilitation. Her academic journey culminated with a PhD in Neuropsychology from the University of Lille, France, where she dedicated four years to pioneering research on Response Bias in cognitive assessments at the SCA Lab.

Over recent years, Dr. Rekha has developed profound clinical expertise in neuropsychological assessment and cognitive rehabilitation. Her extensive knowledge in neurosciences and cognitive functioning has not only been a cornerstone in her clinical practice but has also propelled her into a career as a university lecturer. She teaches courses in Developmental Psychology, Neurosciences, and Neuropsychology in France and the UAE.

At CEMEDIPP, Dr. Rekha primarily oversees the evaluation and rehabilitation of neuropsychological functioning for both children and adults. As Medical Director, she coordinates and monitors all other therapeutic needs, ensuring a comprehensive and interdisciplinary approach to care. She places immense value on the roles of parents and schools in the improvement and well-being of children, consistently prioritizing collaborative efforts to support her patients' developmental journeys.
