Louisa Drid
Clinical Psychologist
Louisa is a French clinical psychologist with a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and Psychopathology from Lyon 2 University.
With 15 years of experience working with people of all ages in various settings (school, non-profit, and hospital), she is a supportive and reassuring professional who can help with a wide range of issues:
- Parenting & parent-child relationship problems
- Trauma & Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
- Anxiety
- Phobias
- Eating disorders
- Sleep disorders
- Bereavement
- Perinatality
- Addictions
- Professional difficulties
Aware that the psychologist-patient relationship is above all an alliance based on trust, Louisa knows how to put her patients at ease by offering a safe, welcoming, and benevolent space for expression and listening, without judgment, always personalized and adjusted to your specific problem.
Concerned about providing quality care to her patients, Louisa has chosen to train in several approaches and thus practices a so-called integrative psychology.
Her main method is psychodynamic psychotherapy, which allows her to discover the meaning and deep causes of difficulties, to treat them "at the root" in order to free oneself from them. It is a method that also offers the possibility of accessing a better knowledge of oneself and a real well-being.
Louisa also uses psycho-corporeal methods such as Caycedian sophrology, which she trained in at the IPEES in Lyon, France. Louisa is also trained in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapies and Systemic Psychology, which she uses to help people understand and overcome their difficulties.
Louisa is also competent in family support, both at the conjugal level and in terms of parental guidance, and in crisis management. She also offers the animation of support groups and the analysis of professional practices.
Passionate about her profession, Louisa will be happy to put her skills to the benefit of her patients and their loved ones, in French or English.
