Maria Doumeth

Occupational therapist

Maria Doumeth is a trilingual Occupational Therapist, graduated from Saint Joseph University of Beirut, with solid experience supporting children across a wide range of ages and developmental profiles. She specializes in helping children build the essential motor, cognitive, and functional skills needed for everyday life, both at home and in school environments.

Her clinical approach is rooted in the shared foundations of Occupational Therapy and Psychomotor Therapy, focusing on the development of motor coordination, autonomy in daily living activities (such as dressing, feeding, and organization), and key cognitive processes including attention, memory, and problem-solving. What distinguishes her practice is a holistic, child-centered methodology that integrates these skills into meaningful, real-life activities, promoting independence, participation, and long-term developmental progress.

Maria is fully integrated into the clinic’s multidisciplinary framework and works in close collaboration with schools and inclusion teams to ensure continuity of care and consistency in therapeutic goals. She places strong emphasis on teamwork and smooth transitions, ensuring that each child’s developmental history and therapy objectives are carefully followed and adapted.

Deeply committed to a personalized approach, Maria creates a supportive, engaging, and dynamic therapeutic environment where children feel safe to explore and grow. She values each child’s individuality, builds on their strengths, and actively involves parents in the therapeutic process. By incorporating creativity and play-based, real-life activities into her sessions, she makes learning both meaningful and enjoyable, fostering motivation and confidence in every child.

Maria is available for in-person or virtual consultations to discuss your child’s needs, define tailored goals, and design an individualized support plan.
